Submit Your Stories丨“The Belt and Road”Youth Story Sharing is waiting for you
Today, our world is living in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and complex shifts in the international landscape. Implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is encountering roadblocks as global development faces unprecedented challenges with an ever-widening North-South divide and the world facing another onset of change and instability.
In 2021, China proposed the Global Development Initiative, calling on the international community to focus on peace and development, and accelerate the implementation of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
2022 marks the 9th year of the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), a cause capturing strong resilience and vitality.
Youth, as a key force in promoting global sustainable development, are injecting further impetus to the construction of the BRI. As they unite and cooperate to make the world a better place, they are also writing their own chapters of touching stories that encourage and inspire others to grow.
The theme of 2022 Youth Story Sharing programme is Green Development, with the aim of pooling the wisdom and strength of our youth to forge a sustainable and green future hand-in-hand. As part of this community, do you have your own story to share?
Whether it is environmental protection, resource conservation, carbon reduction, ecological restoration, or transition to a green economy, we are looking forward to hearing your unique stories and learning about the actions you have taken. This opportunity to have your voice heard by the world is one that you cannot miss!
